霧山林図屏風を背景に、一本の桜の樹が佇む風景を構成したパフォーマンス。屏風の裏には桜で染めた布を用い、花器には山の木々を薪にして焼いた「桜烈」を使用。風景、染色、陶芸、いけばなが結びつき、素材が姿を変えながら循環する物語を空間全体で表現する。
A performance in which a single cherry tree stands against the “Forest in Mist” folding screen. The reverse of the screen uses fabric dyed with cherry blossoms, while the flower vessel is “Ouretsu,” a ceramic work fired using wood from the mountains. Landscape, dyeing, ceramics, and ikebana come together to express a story of materials changing form and continuing in a cycle.
